Mechanism
Leinsamen bzw. Leinöl liefert α-Linolensäure (ALA), eine pflanzliche Omega-3-Fettsäure. Omega-3-Fettsäuren werden im Zusammenhang mit Hautbarriere, Fellqualität und der Balance entzündlicher Mediatoren diskutiert. Beim Pferd ist die Umwandlung von ALA in EPA/DHA begrenzt.
