Cataract
A clouding of the lens that restricts vision depending on its extent. Cataracts can be congenital, age-related or a consequence of other eye diseases (e.g. recurrent uveitis) and often run a chronic course.

Veterinary/ophthalmological diagnostics clarify the extent, cause (e.g. distinguishing ERU) and whether surgical treatment makes sense. A clouded lens cannot be reversed through feeding.
