Krauser Ampfer fuehrt Anthrachinonderivate mit laxierender Tendenz sowie Oxalate, die Calcium binden koennen (veterinaertoxikologische und pharmakognostische Literatur). Bei hoher Aufnahme wird eine Oxalatbelastung fuer Nieren und Calciumhaushalt diskutiert. Equine Wirksamkeitsdaten fehlen.
