Mechanism

Tyrosin entsteht durch Hydroxylierung von Phenylalanin und ist Ausgangsstoff fuer Dopamin/Noradrenalin/Adrenalin (geschwindigkeitsbestimmend: Tyrosinhydroxylase; Daubner et al. 2011, PMC3065393, doi:10.1016/j.abb.2010.12.017) sowie fuer die Schilddruesenhormone T3/T4 und Melanin (Wu 2009, PMID 19301095). Als bedingt essenzielle AS wird der Bedarf bei ausreichender Phenylalanin-Zufuhr gedeckt; eine gezielte Tyrosin-Gabe ist beim Pferd weder als bedarfsdeckend noch als leistungs- oder verhaltenswirksam belegt. Ableitungen zu 'Stressresistenz' oder Schilddruesenfunktion stammen aus anderen Spezies/Modellen und sind fuer Pferde spekulativ; NRC 2007 nennt keinen eigenstaendigen Tyrosinbedarf.
