Mechanism

Sulforaphan entsteht enzymatisch aus dem Glucosinolat Glucoraphanin (u. a. in Brokkolisprossen). In vitro und im Nagermodell aktiviert es den Keap1-Nrf2-ARE-Signalweg und die Expression von Phase-II-Enzymen (Literaturuebersichten, z. B. Molecular Nutrition & Food Research). Belastbare pharmakokinetische oder klinische Daten beim Pferd liegen nicht vor.
