Mechanism

Olivenblatt ist reich an dem Sekoiridoid Oleuropein (bis ~17% im Extrakt) sowie Hydroxytyrosol und Flavonoiden (Luteolin-/Apigenin-Glykoside). Diese Polyphenole sind starke Radikalfaenger, steigern in experimentellen Modellen antioxidative Enzyme (Katalase, SOD, Glutathionperoxidase) und wurden mit endothelialer/vasodilatatorischer Wirkung in Verbindung gebracht (tierexperimentell: renale/karotide Haemodynamik, oleuropein-vermittelt, PMC5780626). Randomisierte, kontrollierte Humanstudien zeigten mit standardisiertem Olivenblatt-Extrakt (z. B. 136 mg Oleuropein/Tag) signifikant niedrigeren Blutdruck bei Praehypertonikern (Lockyer et al. 2016, PMID 26951205). Kontrollierte equine Studien fehlen; Olivenblatt wird in Pferde-Kraeuterblends als natuerliches Antioxidans/Kreislauf-Support gefuehrt (Extrapolation, kein equiner Wirknachweis). Einordnung: Ergaenzungsfuttermittel, antioxidativ/stoffwechselunterstuetzend diskutiert - keine Heilaussage.
