Mechanism

Majoran enthaelt ein aetherisches Oel mit Terpinen-4-ol, cis-Sabinenhydrat, Linalool und gamma-Terpinen sowie Rosmarinsaeure und Flavonoide (Apigenin, Luteolin) (Review chemisches Profil, PMC9785525). Diese Bestandteile werden mit karminativer, spasmolytischer und verdauungsfoerdernder Wirkung (Steigerung von Magensekret/Pepsin, mukusprotektiv) sowie mit antioxidativer/antimikrobieller Aktivitaet (DPPH-Radikalfaengerei; antimikrobiell gegen Candida und Bakterien) in Verbindung gebracht (PMC9502550). Die Datenlage stammt ganz ueberwiegend aus In-vitro- und Nagermodellen; kontrollierte Studien am Pferd fehlen. Traditionell wird Majoran als mildes Kuechen-/Verdauungskraut genutzt und ist als Gewuerz/Kraut gut vertraeglich. Einordnung: Ergaenzungsfuttermittel, karminativ/verdauungsunterstuetzend diskutiert - keine Heilaussage.

How the Equiterna Score is built
