Mechanism
Isoflavone (u.a. Genistein, Daidzein, Formononetin; reichlich in Soja und Rotklee) sind Flavonoide mit Phytoestrogen-Eigenschaften und binden in vitro schwach an Oestrogenrezeptoren. In vitro werden antioxidative und hormonell modulierende Effekte beschrieben. Kontrollierte Pferdedaten fehlen; kloverreiche Weiden/Soja koennen relevante Isoflavonmengen liefern, deren endokrine Bedeutung beim Pferd unklar ist.
