Mechanism

Inhaltsstoffe sind Flavonoide, Phenolsaeuren, Gerbstoffe, biogene Amine mit cholinerger Aktivitaet sowie beschriebene uterotone, oxytocin-artige Peptide; ein Vitamin-K-Gehalt traegt zur traditionell blutstillenden Zuschreibung bei. Historisch wurde die Droge als Haemostyptikum, Vasokonstriktor und bei uteriner Blutung verwendet (Nutrients-Review 2024). Belastbare kontrollierte Humanstudien sind rar, equine Studien fehlen; ein Grossteil aelterer Daten ist praeklinisch/ethnobotanisch (teils russischsprachig). Wegen der uterotonen Peptide gilt Zurueckhaltung in der Traechtigkeit. Einordnung: Ergaenzungsfuttermittel mit reproduktions- und gerinnungsrelevantem Vorbehalt.
