Mechanism

Die Kelche enthalten Anthocyane (Delphinidin-3-Sambubiosid, Cyanidin-3-Sambubiosid), organische Saeuren (u.a. Hibiscussaeure) und weitere Polyphenole. Human- und tierexperimentell werden blutdrucksenkende Effekte ueber ACE-Hemmung, Vasodilatation und milde Diurese diskutiert (Front Pharmacol 2022; systematische Reviews). Antioxidative Wirkungen sind in-vitro gut belegt. Beim Pferd fehlen kontrollierte Studien; die Uebertragbarkeit humaner Blutdruckdaten auf das Pferd ist offen. Einordnung: Ergaenzungsfuttermittel, saeuerlicher Aufguss mit antioxidativer und kreislaufbezogener Tradition.
