Mechanism

Hefe-Metaboliten umfassen zellfreie Fermentationsprodukte und Zellwandbestandteile von Saccharomyces cerevisiae, darunter Beta-Glucane, Mannan-Oligosaccharide, Nukleotide und Vitamine des B-Komplexes. Hefe-Produkte gehören zu den in der Pferdefütterung am breitesten eingesetzten Zusätzen, mit Untersuchungen zu Faserfermentation und Darmmilieu (equine Ernährungsübersichten, MSD Vet Manual; NRC Nutrient Requirements of Horses). Ergebnisse zu funktionellen Endpunkten sind produkt- und stammabhängig und nicht einheitlich.
