Mechanism

Gekeimter Hafer (Hafergras/-sprosse): wie bei anderen Getreiden aktiviert die Keimung koerpereigene Enzyme, die Staerke und Proteine aufschliessen, Phytat abbauen und B-Vitamine sowie Tocopherole erhoehen, was Verdaulichkeit und Mineralstoff-Bioverfuegbarkeit verbessert (Nkhata et al. 2018, Food Sci Nutr, PMID 30510746, DOI 10.1002/fsn3.846). Belastbare equine Studien speziell zu Hafersprossen fehlen; als Modell fuer gekeimtes Getreide-Gruenfutter beim Pferd dient hydroponisches Weizen-Fodder, das Fermentationsmetabolite im Kot veraenderte (Francis et al. 2018, J Equine Vet Sci). Die schmackhafte Gruenkomponente ist plausibel, eine Vitalisierungs-Wirkung beim Pferd aber nicht belegt. Zentrale Vorbehalte bleiben Schimmel-/Mykotoxin-Risiko bei feuchter Keimung und Rest-Staerke/-Zucker.

  • · Schimmel-/Mykotoxin-Risiko bei feuchter Keimung - nur frisches, sichtbar schimmelfreies Fodder fuettern.
  • · Rest-Staerke/-Zucker aus dem Getreide - fuer staerke-/zuckersensible Pferde in groesseren Mengen ungeeignet.
  • · Langsam anfuettern; nicht als abrupter Rauhfutter-Ersatz.
