Mechanism

Bohnenkraut enthaelt ein ätherisches Oel mit hohem Anteil an Carvacrol und Gamma-Terpinen sowie Gerbstoffe. Traditionell wird es als aromatisches, verdauungsfoerderndes Gewuerz beschrieben. Fuer das Pferd fehlen kontrollierte Studien; carvacrolreiche Oele wirken schleimhautreizend und sollten nur sparsam eingesetzt werden.
