Beta-Glucanase

1,3-1,4-beta-Glucanase · Endo-1,3(4)-beta-Glucanase

Mechanism

Beta-Glucanasen (endo-1,3(4)- bzw. 1,4-beta-Glucanase) hydrolysieren Beta-Glucane der Getreide-Zellwaende (vor allem Gerste und Hafer) und senken die Viskositaet des Darminhalts. In Gefluegel und Schwein sind sie als zootechnische Zusatzstoffe etabliert und EFSA-bewertet (z.B. Endofeed DC, EFSA Journal 2013;11(4):3322; RONOZYME VP, EFSA-Gutachten pub 7703). Beim Pferd fehlen belastbare Wirksamkeitsdaten; das grosse, mikrobiell besiedelte Colon baut Beta-Glucane ohnehin fermentativ ab, sodass ein Vorteil praecaecaler Enzymzugabe fraglich ist. In equinen Versuchen mit fibrolytischen Enzymen (teils beta-glucanasehaltig) waren die Effekte auf die Verdaulichkeit uneinheitlich (vgl. Robinson et al. 2007, J Equine Vet Sci 27(12):535-538). Evidenz beim Pferd: emerging.
