Asparaginsäure

Mechanism

Aspartat entsteht durch Transaminierung von Oxalacetat und liefert Stickstoff in den Harnstoffzyklus, ist Baustein der Purin-/Pyrimidinsynthese und Teil des Malat-Aspartat-Shuttles zur Uebertragung von Reduktionsaequivalenten (Wu 2009, PMID 19301095). Als nicht-essenzielle AS wird der Bedarf endogen gedeckt; beim Pferd ist Aspartat nicht limitierend und ohne definierten diaetetischen Bedarf (NRC 2007; GfE 2014). Fuer Kombinationen wie Kalium-/Magnesium-Aspartat (Ermuedung/Elektrolyte) gibt es keine belastbaren equinen Belege; ein eigenstaendiger Supplement-Nutzen von L-Asparaginsaeure ist beim gesunden Pferd nicht belegt.
